Moon & female mysteries

The moon ("Luna" in Latin) is the only natural satellite of the earth. It orbits around the earth establishing the lunar month, and during this period it passes through all its phases. The transformations of the lunar body which we see in the sky are the result of the angle that the moon creates with the sun as seen from earth. Moving around the earth the moon changes, and the visible fraction of its face and its changes are known as moon phases, repeated in the same way every month.
The energy of each moon phase influences both the spiritual and the material dimension. The moon is also deeply connected with women's menstrual cycle and its creative power so, as females, celebrate the moon means to honour our own nature, and reclaime our divine rhythm.
